Built in 1907, the wonderful old stone building that is home to Gallery Classic is an English Tudor style structure that was originally a dairy barn. After extensive renovation in 1933, from the old stone dairy barn emerged the White Lakes Golf Clubhouse, subsequently offices and retail. The second floor of this designated historic landmark still has the original dance floor and stage where Tommy Dorsey and his band performed in the 1950's. The city of Topeka is a city with a colorful past and an exciting future. It is home to several museums, art galleries, and beautiful examples of historic architecture. Topeka is the Capitol City of Kansas. |

This view is the south entrance to Gallery Classic where visitors are greeted with a friendly hello and a cup of our signature blend of coffee. We have a history board on-site that covers the complete history of this beautifully restored building. Many older Topekans warmly remember having danced in the ballroom upstairs during the 1940's and 50's and happy stories are a part of the history of this very unique building. |

You'll also find our fabric room with hundreds of fabric samples for the lines of upholstery we sell including Wesley Hall, Best Slipcover Company, Barcalounger and Omnia Leather.
